Orca Recovery Day is an intentional day of action to restore habitat, reduce stormwater pollution, and educate the public.
Using three different methods to replant eelgrass - a critical habitat for herring and other forage fish that has died off significantly since the early 2000s.
In partnership with federal, state and local partners we are working with private landowners to expand suitable habitat for one of the rarest known butterfly species in the world.
