Youth and Adult Conservation Corps

The Youth Conservation Corps provides conservation and stewardship programs for youth ages 12-18. The popular summer program runs for 8 weeks June-August, serving Orcas, Lopez, and San Juan islands. Activities include trail building, habitat restoration, public information campaigns and even monitoring endangered species!

The Islands Conservation Corps is a field based ecological restoration programing working in forestry, riparian, and near shore ecosystems in the San Juan Islands. The program connects AmeriCorps members to educational opportunities at Western Washington University.
