The April 19 Conservation Summit is an event for everyone celebrating Earth Day. The Summit will showcase efforts and accomplishments by local stewardship groups and agencies, as well as recognize exceptional natural resource stewardship by individuals and businesses. Keynote speaker will be David Dicks, Executive Director of the Puget Sound Partnership - the Governor's and Legislature's effort to create a healthy Puget Sound.  
Good Steward Awards will be announced in six categories, and afternoon field trips and a service opportunity have been organized.  Please join us!

Morning (9:30-12:30)

Keynote Address by David Dicks, Executive Director of the Puget Sound Partnership
Displays by the members of the Stewardship Network of the San Juan Islands
Kid’s Camp on site with fun and educational activities for kids ages 4 through 12
Announcement of the 2008 Good Steward Award Recipients

Lunch (12:30-1:30) - Presented by Vortex and local farmers
